well this summer even with

The Auction Sale held at
the farm of Mr. and Mrs. Ed
Schroeder on Monday, Civic
Holiday, was largely
attended with many
collectors in attendance.
Messrs. Hector McNeill and
Percy Wright were the
auctioneers. The dishes and
antiques brought excellent
prices.

T-ball has proven^ very
popular with the 9 years and
younger children who are not
involved in organized ball.
They play. on Wednesday
afternoons at 1:30.

team in the South Huron
Slowpitch League have
finished regular games, and
the semi-final play-offs
began last week. Senior girls
won over Auburn a week ago
Tuesday night at Varna, and
were to play the same team
this week at Auburn. The
Junior girls' A team defeated
Benmifter-at V While the
B team lost at Holmesville
last week. This past
Tuesday, the A teamwas in
Benmiller and the B team
hosted Holmesville at our
ball park.
