Debbie Wright took first place in the long jump event for girls aged seven and eight years old: Steve Coombs won first in the same event for boys aged nine or 10 years old. Denise Morey was the first place finishqrin the event for *ls aged .nitie and ID years-- old, and David McLlwaincj on first place for boys aged 11 and 12 years. Cheryl Read took first .in the same event for girls: Peter Underwood won first place in the long jump for boys aged 13, and 14 years of age, and Christine Knetsch brought home first prize in the same event for girls. In the 880 yard relay event for girls, the Seaforth team of Tracy Wright. Brenda Wesenberg, Pam BettleS and Denise Morey took first place .honors. The Seaforth team of Julie Knetsch, Janice Uhderwood, Susan Ball and Ivlarijo Kale won the 880 yard relay event for girls 11 and 12 years al& Todd Morey won first in the 880 yard dash for ,,boy's 11, 12 years old and peter ... Peter Underwood took first place, Paul Stewart finished ii'second and Brian Coombs finished in third place. Cheryl Morey was second in the same event in the girlS' class. In the 220 yard dash for boys aged 15 to 18 years of age, John Cairns placed seconil and Donald Crocker placed tturct. Mike Betties was first in the 440 yard dash for boys aged seven and eight years old. Andy Ball was second and*Chris Harburn was Third, Peter Underwood took first place in the same event for boys aged 13 and 14 years of age, and Paul ,Stewart place second. Christine Knetsch was first in the same' event in the girls competition and Cheryl Morey was second. Todd Morey placed first in the 440 yard dash for boys 11, and 12 years old. Relay Team Wins The Seaforth girls' relay team of Janice UndeivvOod, Susan Ball, Julie Knetsch and Marijo Kale took first play in the'440 yard relAy for girls 11 and 12 years old.' Todd Morey won first place in the 880 yard dash for boys aged 11, 12 years did and Peter Underwood won first in the same event for 13, 14, vest old 'hovq. , eight years of age, was won by Mike Betties. Steve Coombs won the same event for boys nine and 10 years of age. and Mike Segeren won the event for the next age group. Tracy Wright was second • in the girls' throw, for, ages seven and eight years and Denise Merey placed,first in the event for girls aged nine and ten years. Cheryl' Morey was first, in the event for girls 13 and '14 -years of age. The Seaforth boys' soccer team made a clean sweep of their . two games, against West Branch teams on the weekend, but . other local teams didn't fare as well. The Seaforth boys' soccer team won their first game against West Branch by a •score of 10 to 0, an took the second game with a score of 6 to 3. - The Seaforth girls' soccer team. won both their games in West Branch, taking the first game by a score of 6.0, and the second by a, seore of 2-1, The ,girls' softball team weren't quiteCkas fortunate in their games, losing(the first, game to the Michigan team Enia score of 15 to 0-, and the seeond game by a score of 25 to 7. The boys? baseball team lost to West Branch in both games 28 6 in their.first match,' and by a score of 10 to 8 in the second' game, The mens" fastball team also threw both their games. losing to West Branch by a Seoreef 13 to 4 in their first • game and 6 to 5 in fastball. The Seaforth mens' slow- pitch team played four games against their Michigan counterparts, losing three of the games.
