THRESHING BEE — The men who were threshing on the O'Reilly's
farm, Lot 9, Con. 2, McKillop Township, took a' brek from their
labors in the summer of 1896 to pose for this photo. Tile Men in the
picture include Ed Litt, the tall man standing near the steam engine,
and ToMmy the little boy at the foot of the ladder. The
threshing rig was owned by Alec Darling._ _

HAYPRESSING CREW Although we don't know the names, this-,
is a pictu-re of a hayprssing crew, plus a younger addition, taken in
the Dublin area in the early 19201s. The machinery was owned by
Alec Darling.

horse team which was once a common sight in rural areas before the
