Pipe Band and singers on Sunday
evening in Victoria Park.

the board, said he failed 'to

of a triangular piece of land,
south of . Ken Smith Pools, to
David Schendi for the sum of
$3,000.
Mr. Schenck, who. now
operates an auto body shop in
Harpurhey, has indicated he
intends to move his busines to
Birch Street.
In other business, council
learned that the provincial
goVertintent-Will_paythe-fulf cost--
of repaving 1100.feet of the west
end of Goderich Street, from the
town limits to 150 ,feet east of
Helen .Street.
Sanitary sewers were installed
in this part of town in 1976,
necessitating the resurfacing of
the road.
The repaving. expected - to
cost about $8,000 which will be
completely subsidized by the
provincial government.
Tenders for the, repaving Will
be called in the near future.'

September 15 of this year.
