B. THE CARROLL RESIDENCE - Built in 1875, a :
two-storey white brick house originally a square plan •
Italianate house, now a "T'' shape through an 1880

NISH RESIDENCE - Built in 1870, it contains
examples of Neo-Classical and Gothic Revival 'detail.
D. THE DOIG RESIDENCE - Built prior to 1850, an
example of the first farm house style "considered to be
one of the first brick residences 'to' be built in Seaforth.
E THE DUNLOP RESIDENCE - Built in'1875, one of the
finest examples of a later "farmhouse." structure in
Seaforth.
F. THE HANSEN RESIDENCE - Built in 1883, vernacular
style consisting of variations originating with foreign.

finely detailed yet massive wooden• brackets.
G. THE HORTHY RESIDENCE - Built in 1872, 'one of the
earliest brick houses built by John Ament; froht facade

Regency Period in Ontario architecture.
I. LORNE VILLA APARTMENTS - Built 1886-1890,
represents the ,non-faxmhouse style of resd ence in r.
J. THE MCIVER RESIDENCE - Built in 1874, features a
unique set of three Scottish dormers, plus vertical "'
grooves on the clapboard siding.
K. THE SMITH RESIDENCE - Construction date,
unknown, it is one of the last.remaining board and batten
finished houses.
L. THE WALKER RESIDENCE - Built as a store in 1864,
the symmetry plan accompanied by the blend a the wood
portions to. t ?. basic brick structure makes for an
