Vincent Lane, who only
recently retired from writing this
column advised me today that he
was overjoyed° by the many
phone calls, cards, gifts etc. that
he received for Father's Day June
18. W h e
he is only one of the many fathers
in the locality he is of the opinion
that he could be the only
Grandfather with as many
teenaged or over grandchildren.
From as far east as Kitchener
to as far west as Edmonton he had
correspondence in ,some form
with them. This greatly helped to
make his day. a ,memorable one.
It's, too bad he wasn't still the
correspondent as he's working on
another project in his back yard
(remember the shed?!)
