won $500. in the Lions Club Stanley,Cup contest. He held a ticket
with 9 minutes., 20 seconds, the exact time the winning goal was
scored according to Bob Beuttenmiller who headed the Lions
aub Committee that was.in charge of the event. •
Mr. John Archibald of Des 'Moines,. Iowa was in town Mist
week visiting his brother, Robert Archibald and Mrs. Ar chibaid,
Centre Street. Mr Archibald hAthattended an Archibald family
reunion in Barrie and was on hik—Way to Toronto to attend
reunion activities at the university of Toronto, It is SO years since
Mr.'' Archibald graduated from Varsity which he attended
following his graduation from. Seaforth Collegiate.
Mr. and Mis. Everett Felkar of Calgary, Alberta, have
.returned• home following a visit with her brother Mr, Kenneth
Tebbet and his parents Mr. and Mrs: Charles Felkar, High
Street. •

town with Mr. and Mrs.. D'Orlean Sills and Mr. an&Mrs..Robert
Archibald.
Dr. Glenn Campbell of Elmwood Presbyterian Church,
Landon, and Mrs, Campbell have returned recently from a trip to
Scotland, a gift of his congregation. Dr. Campbell is a former
minister . of First Presbyterian Church, Seaforth.

conducted by the Goderich and District Community Grandstand

ApProitimately 90 friends and relatives surprised Clarence and
__ Roseanne McNichol at their home in Clinton on Sunday on the
occasion Of• their 25th wedding anniversary Their family treated-
them ,to dinner in Stratford on the, previous evening:
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Smale visited their daughter Mrs. Vern
Reynolds in Victoria Hospital, London, last Saturday where'
Donna is rectiperating after having had a pin put in her ankle as
the result of a fracture when she fell accidentally. Kimberly Ann
came borne with the. grandparents where she will stay till Donna
is able to take- charge again.
Andy, Susan and Gaby White Were in Detroit on the weekend
attending .the funeral of -Andy's grandmother, Nellie MacRae.
Mrs. MacRae, who was 87 had been in good health and died as a
result of a fall she suffered coming out of church last,-S,unday.
One of 11 children, she's"survived by two sisters, her husband
Bill, two sons, 10 grandchildren andieight great-grandchildren.
Erin Hickey, daughter of Teresa and Jim Hickey of Brussels
won second prize in the over seven months -class at the Clinton
Spring ,Fair on Saturday. She's a grand-daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Joe Devereaux of R. R. #4, Seaforth and Mr. and Mrs. Joe
Hickey of Milburn. •
Mrs. Annie ha rrison had Mrs. -:Edgil Dauphince,
Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, MiSs B. Abhcrhardt, Goderich and Mr.
Robert Abhcrhardt, Kapuskasing as visitors on the weekend.
