thos'e gardens they've dreamed of
during thd long winter mTiths or'
the weekend when many stow
eainping gear in their trunk and '
Victoria set off for the great outdoors.
But many Seaforth and area.
residents chose to spend the
weekend right here in town, as
our roving photographer Paul
Ellis-discovered. Some idled away
the time catching a few winks of
sleep in the sun, other spent a
leisurely few hours on. the 'golf
course, some spend part of-
Saturday at the Blyth Arts and .
Crafts Festival, dropped by
• Sunday afternoon's flea market at
,the Van Egmond Foundation,
spent their money at one of the
local auction sales or just lay out
in the sun. •
Although the Saturday after-
noon rainstorm threatened to
spoil the outdoor activities plan-
ned by many holidayers, the sun
broke through again, and all in
all, the weekend was a good
opening act for What we hope will
be an even better summer. ,
