Payne 262-5018 PRESENTATION -- Mrs. Grace Peck, a longtime resident,of Hensall, now living it Huronview, presented a painting of a Hensall street scene to Reeve Harold Knighi at this week's council meeting. The painting, done from the window of Mrs. Peck's former home at 84 King Street, will hang in the town's municipal office. A variety of topics was presented at the May meeting of Unit four of the Hensall United Church Women on Thursday, May 4,, in the Fellowship Hall. \President, Mrs. James McAllister presided and opened the meeting by reading from the Upper Room on "Fruits of the 'Spirit." Mrs. Len Purdy gave the devotional based on, "What is 'the full meaning of meditation?", Mrs. Rena Caldwell told of a trip to the Caribbean and had something of interest to tell about the different islands-, the people, the products and the political situation. Mrs. Sim Roobal conducted a "Bible Quiz, assisted by Mrs. Russell Erratt. 56 visits were made to sick and shut-ins during the month. The meeting concluded with the singing of a hymn and prayer. Don 'Beck preached on "The Churbh and its Obituary Mrs. Amilea Louise (Bender) Schroeder paised away at the Blue Water Rest Home, Zurich on Tuesday May 2nd in her 96th year. She was the wife of the late omon' Schroeder and sent most of her life in this area. Surviving is one son Edward Herbert Schroeder,' R Hensall, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
