THE Ontario Department of Agri- culture has issued the annual reports of the Poultry and Pet Stook Associ- ations, of Ontario for 1896. It con- tains a list of officers and members of the association, a report of the twenty third annual meeting of the Ontario Poultry association and a report of the poultry exhibiton held at Guelph in January last. It also contains valuable papers read at the papers read at the association. THE statement of the Dominion re venue for the quarter ending Sept. 30th shows receipts of 88,314,747, against $8,846,208 in the same quart- er last year—the decrease is wholly in inland revenue. The expenditure shows an increase in the same period of aboue$800,000, bat this difference i3 due to the fact that it was about the latter part of SeptemperIast year before there was any supply bill. There was a decreased in the public debt for the past month of 8741,- 623.
