A new six -column, eight page paper has just been started in Exeter,, under the management of Mr: Pasmore, late of the Elyth Advocate. Mr. P. knows how to boom the newspaper business arid if there is any room for his yen - tele in that village -ha will find it The paper is Reform in politics.— Parkhill Gazette, The Veceter Advocate has made its appearances The Advocate ia the very antipodesof the Reflec- tor. It is an out-and-out prohib- itionist, Reform in politics, and if it continues as it has begun, it is going to be one of the local papers of the province that takes the trouble to get local news.
