meeting on Saturday last to consider
the question of seleeting and nomi-
nating a candidate for the division
of Huron, Kinloss and the villiage of
Lucicx.ow. Those nominated were
D. Henderson, John McCharles, G, II..
Humphreys and Richard Robertson.
Humphrey and Robertson resigned,
when a vote was taken to see who
was the choice of the meeting, Me -
Charles was the favorite, but only a
small number of the ratepayers being
present Me. Henderson was not sat
islled with the result of the bal-
lot.
Since writing the above, Mr. G.
Barton has informed us that he 19 in
