A MACN1FICENT TRIUMPH FOR
LIBERALISM.
The Death Knell of Tupperism Rung
From Ocean to Ocean.
A STRAIGHT LIBERAL MAJORITY OF
TWENTY EIGHT.
Never before in the history of Canada has the cause
Liberalism been so triumphant as it was on Tuesday. From
shore to shore in every Province were the Liberal candidates
successful in carryingoffseatsthathave for yearsbeen considered
Conservative strongholds. After four well fought contests, the
Liberals had always found themselves in the minority, but at
last the day of victory has come and it has proved to be a
'Waterloo. So far as can be ascertained from the reports up
to the present time, the Liberals will have a majority in
Province except New Brunswick.
