Easter was the theme of the
April meeting of the Seaforth
Women's Institute at the home of
President, Mrs. H. Hugill, April
12th. A most 'interesting
commentary on the Holy Land
was given by Mr: ' Norman
MacLean ^f FritnnurIville
It makes one feel very humble
she said, to be in the land of the
Birthplace of Jesus, the Garden of
Gethsemanee, site of the last
supper, the place where Jesus
died, the Tomb where Jesus was.
She told of visiting Beth lehem,
Jerusalem, of seeing Sea of
Galilee and the River Jordan
which is small and muddy,-
The homes are small, probably
several people living in one room
curtains pull, back and the bed is
there.
Flowerswerebeautiful, she said
, also beautiful trees, and showed
a necklace made from o.ive Wood.
Cotton grows there, also bananas
and there appears to be more
