was held on Wednesday evening,
April b, in the church basement;
opening with sing-song led by
Mrs. Neil McG avin.
The McKillop Unit was 'in
charge of devotions, Mrs.
McGavih read the scripture from
John 14: 1 .4. Hymn. "God came
in Jesus" was sung followed by
Mrs. Merton Blackwell' giving
prayer. Mrs.. C. Wey gave a
meditation on "A Great
Promise". Hymn, "Take my life
and let it bd" was sung.
.Rev. Ed. Ba.ker showed a slide"
presentation on "Wills"
accompanied with narration on
record, followed by a discussion.
Mrs, lvIcGavin sang a solo
accompanied by Mrs. M.
Hackwell at the piano. ;Offering
was received by Mrs. K.
McDonald, dedicated by Mrs, M.
Hackwell. ,
Mrs. Campbell Wey presided
for the business. Minutes were
approved as read by Mrs. H erb
Traviss. An invitation from -
Brussels United Church to' attend
their Thankoffering on April 24th
was accepted, Further plans were
made for _the U.C. . .Thank-
offering at Duff's United Church
on Sunday • evening, April. 17th.
The Neufeldt's from Kichener
will be guest speakers. The June
meeting will be a joint 'meeting
with all units when Mrs. Ten Pas
of Brussels will show her pictures
of Brazil. There will be a bale sent
to be packed by May 22. Hynn,

centre was an Easter setting with
a cross in front of drapes with
Easter lilies and yellow spring
flowers.
Devotions and program were
taken by Nona Pipe and Ida
Durnin, opening with reading
"April smiles and April" by Nona
Pipe. The theme was "A' cross
against the sky," Hymn "All hail
the power of Jesus' name" was
sung. Scripture and meditation
was read by Ida and hymn
"Chrisi the Lord is risen" was
sung. Ida read an Easter message__
