The team is currently in the Regional Finals and,. if they win their next game, will have the chance to go to Windsor to compete in the Provincials. Let's hope that they make itl. For the past few weeks, the yearbook Club „ has , been sponsoring a "Candid Photo•Contest". The contest ends tomorrow and winners will be announced over the P.A. on. Monday. The'-pictures that win will also be printed in the "Review" next week,. There has been a fairly good responce,, much to my surprise. All pictures by the way, will be used in the 76-77 edition of Footsteps: • Yearbook sales (1975.76) end tomorrow and the new book is one sale now. Sales (hopefully) will be high. Dale Parsons Winthrop George R. McClure, R111#2, Seaforth, Ontario has returned after attending a 3 day milker system seminar at Albert Lea, Minnesota . A pot luck supper preceded the annual meeting of St. James Catholic Women's League held in the, school last Tuesday. Mrs. Ewart Wilson , presided and opened the meeting with the League Prayer. .Spiritual convener, Mrs. Ray Hutchinson, ,gave a reading "Mother of Sorrows." During March '17 visits were made.to the sick. Visitors for April are MiSs Teresa Bauer and Mrs. Wilson. Right to Life convener, Mrs. Ken Vincent reported that the Festival for Life to protest abortion will be held in Ottawa, May 5, 6 and 7th. The annual meeting followed with reports given by the execu- .-tWo4 and conveners showing a successful year. Mrs. Alvin Smale, nominating committee chairman, conducted election of officers for the coming year, resulting as follOsks: Spiritual Director - Fr. Mrs. Wilson welcomed the new executive and expressed thanks to Fr,---Laragh and to all for.their 'support during the past year. An invitation to attend a meeting on AIR 21 commemorating the hundredth anniversary of First Presbyterian Church W.M.S. was verprrpri Judge F.C. Carter of Goderich came to the grade 8 class on Wednesday, March 30., He talked about the early development of the town of Goderich and pioneers, with'extra emphasis on Tiger Dunlop and Colonel Van Egmond, two important figures in the history of Goderich. Teacher's Mobile Library The library mobile - was at Hullett on Thursday morning so that the staff couldselect new text books and other learning materials. The library mobile is important to the teachers in preparing their courses. 'Bunny Bundle Draw During the past week the Grade 8 students were selling tickets for Members wished to provide' flowers for the Altar at Easter; 4o give an Easter lily to the Sisters; ' to hold the annual drive for the St.. Vincent De Paul Society on April 23 and 24-and to attend a MaSs in , honour of Our Lady of Good. Counsel it the May meeting. The meeting closed with prayer. a Bunny Bundle raffle. The draw will be cm April 15. First prize is a chocolate Easter egg, second prize is a chocolate bunny, and third prize is a half-poand of cho6olate. Swimming lessons 'began on Thursday April 7 for Grades 4 and 5 and the pOwer learning class. It is an eight-week course at the Vanastra Swimming Pool. This program is very beneficial to the students. -- Public Speaking Contest On Sunday, April 3, the district C public speaking contest was held at the Milverton Legion.
