of the Metropolitan United
Church. This' is a Senior .Citizens
group of the church. .

and Mrs. Ivan Widdifield of
Toronto and West Montrose, the
latter being a cousin of Mr.
Stewart.

After a vote the name for the
club was Ladies of Leisure.

community gatherings in order to
raise some funds, for supplies
needed to go out to these field
duties. At present Tie. Goderich
Branch, which is the main link for
the Seaforth Brigade has offered
members have already covered
some of Ilk hockey ' games and
broomball also events going on at
Bully Gully. Any group
needing the services of the
brigade can contact Clive Buist at
the, rec office,. Betty Glanville,
Ken Holmes or Gary Bannon.
Three iiiembers• are making
plans to attend an instructor's
course coining up on April 23, 24.
The brigade will have it s own
first aid instructors rather than
'having some one come from out of
town.
Since the group is not a money
making organization, they will be
holding small draws . at
Seaforth's St. John's Brigade
held their monthly meeting
March 31 at the town hall,
Seaforth. Guest speaker was John
McDonald of Mitchell.
Thegroup votecton an executive,
naming Ken Holmes as chairman,
Gaiy Bannon vice chairman and
Betty Glanville as • secretary
treasurer. The gorup wit have
their next meeting April 14 at
8:00 p.m. at the Town Hall in
Seaforth.
Some of the members will be
covering the hockey tournament
at the Seaforth arena and •some
will be doing the canoe races on
Sunday at Egmondville. The
$300 to get started. Each of the
new brigade members will be
getting first aid kits le take on
these duties with them.
Replica will he coming within a
week or two on the Borne Care
Program finished at the hopsital
and the First Aid Course at the
high school.
The evening was closed with a
thank you to the members for
coming out and Mr. M cDonald
for advice. Members hope
Seaforth people will give the
Brigade support as they do their
best to offer first aid in the
community.

at 9:30 a.m., upstairs in the
Seaforth Town Hall.

Lorraine Devereaux spoke to
Morning Out this Teesday morn-
ing about nutrition. The six basic
elements of food were discussed,
those being protein, minerals,
fats, vitamins, carbohydrates and
water. Topics like infant feeding
through to pre-school, and the
addition of supplementary
itamins prompted many
questions, answers and
gestions. -
