Centrai. He showed the grade 6, 7
and 8 classes the importance of
first aid, especially stressing
artificial resnsitation. He had
class members practice on a
dummy. He also told the students
how to treat burns, fractures and
cuts! The students learned the
important factors of first aid.
Valentine's Day Postponed
. Due to another one of our freak
- Mid-winter storms, Talentine'S
day was postponed to Tuesday,
Feb. 15• here. at Hullett. On
Tuesday the pupils did the
customary valentine exchanging
and some grades had parties.

grade 8 about courses there.
Three weeks before this, Mr.
Smith from Central Huron •
Secondary School. spoke to the

'On February '11 t .-Soine citizens of 'Pieter caused the
cancellation of the movie "One flew' Over the Cuckoo's Nest" at
SHDHS. I hope that if and when, our students council decides try
have "movie rights" or Whateveri ihe Seaforth towns people,-
don't react like the people of Exeter. Lots of students .under18
have seen the movie that was in question,'and I feel 'that if the
student wants to. attend the show let him. It can't be any worse •
than watching a violent T.V.prograin..
Last week's editorial made ,tv lot. of people mad.. Many
misunderstood .me: What I was saying was not directed at
everyone who'uses the student's lounge just those who damage
the facilities thoughtlessly,. -
Finally,' if there are any complaints about 'happenings in. the
schoo1ydit, the students, shOuld express your-opinions.. Drop off
complaints in the office, and i.'11 use them. Most of this_week's
editorial stems from a -question asked in Friday's.ASsendily. , and
