The fall show of the East.
Wawanosh Agricultural Society was
held at Belgravo, on Monday and
Tuesday last. The display in the
inside departments was good, even
7 the fruit making a very creditable
exhibit, The fine arts and ladies
department was well filled and the
competition close,.
Tlie weather was find on. Tuesday,
though a little cool, and, there was a
pretty large crowd. The show of
horse's was Pally up to the average
and in cattle some fine animals were
shown, Sheep and pigs were well
represented, but it was noticeable
that there was not a Tamworth . pig
shown. .Pork packers highly recom-
17 mend this breed as prodttcing a
superior meat for their purpose, but
,,they do not appear to have been
taken up by our farmers to any ex-
tent . as yet. Implements were
shown in good variety, and the
" whip -seller " and "jewelry fakir "
were in evidence, These gentry
should not be permitted to ply their
business on the fair grounds.
The show as a whole was quite
successful and the officers of the.
society, will come out with a surplus
to still further add to their prize list
and enlarge their show. The prize
list below gives full particulars as to
whom the prizes were awarded:

"For two or three years I was subject to
poor spells. I always felt tired, could not
sleep at night and the little I could eat
did not do me any good. I read about
Hood's Sarsaparilla and decided to try it.
Before I had finished two bottles I began
to feel better and in a short time I felt
all right and had gained 21 pounds in
weight. I am stronger and healthier than
I have ever been in my life." Joux W.
