GI.sTLEstese—Our baby has been
taking Castoria from the time he
WAS two weeks old, and 1 find it to
I* just as good as recommended.
Our boy is eight months and twenty
days old and weighs 221 pounds. 1
find it to be good for children while
teething; I find it is good to cause
babies to rest and sleep good when
sick; our boy had been sick only a
little at first before we gave Castoria
. trial; it cures colie and eases the
stomach and bowels. You may
publish what I have written if it is
atny use to you at all.
Yours truly,

Cis irri, guru,—To say all I ought to in
'f of B. B. 13. would be impossible.
It has been a great health restorer to me
and 1 do swear by it. I am a different
man now to what 1 was tee years ago
when tt was expected I wculci be fn the
asylum, but now I am in perfect robust
• health and it was the B. B. 13. that did
it. 1 suffered for five or six years from
constipation, sometimes so severely that
i went out of nay mind. I tried various
doctors, both in the country and in the
city, and took medicines too numerous
to name, but everything failed to have
the desired effect. When I used Bur-
dock Blood Bitters, however, it succeed-
ed beyond all expectations, requiring
only two bottles to cure me, To make
it still more eert'tia that B. 13. B. is the
real cure for Constipation, I may say
that some two years afterward I felt the
symptoms returning and took one bottle
more, and from that time to this present
day (over eight years) I have never had
any return of the disease. I never knew
any !medicine to work so well. It dues
not seem to beanfere reliever but a sure
and certain cure, as I can certify to, for
hundreds of dollars' worth of medicine
and advice failed to do me any good, but
three dollars' worth of B. J3. B. made a
permanent cure that has given me years
1 of health and comfort.
Yours truly,

The death of very many cattle in
Simcoe county and neighboring ones
has caused considerable uneasiness
in the farming community as it now
transpires that the binding cord
mixed with straw has been the cause
of death. John Dees, of Collingwood
township, has lost seven cows out of
eight afflicted, John Wiscinan lost
two, Arbuthenot three, and several
others have suffered like loss. One
of Arbuthenot's cattle was opened
and in its stomach was found a ball
of chewed cord, which had probably
been accumulating there for a year
or two, as the ball was very large.
It is now said that the cord must be
removed frons the straw and to do
this one farmer suggests having a
man at the threshing machine to
remove the cord as soon as the band
is cut.
A LoT or MONEY is waisted every
year by people who can ill afford to
lose it. They buy what they do not
want, or what afterwards turns out
to be useless for the purpose for
which they bought it; and so they
are compelled to go without many
things of which they stand in need.
A man suffering from headache,
loss of appetite, indigestion, or low
spirits, will dose himself with noxious
drugs, and waste his money on all
sorts of useless medicines when by
taking a dose of Holloway's Pills he
could immediately put hitnselt'right.
Of course if he has gout, rheumatism,
lumbago, bronchitis, sore throat, or
weak chest, he must use Holloway's
Ointment, a world -famed remedy for
all such complaints.
A change has been made in the
close season for bass fishing in On.
tario and Quebec, which will interest
the anglers of the two provinces, At
the present time the close season
extends from May 15 to June 80.
The experience of the departmental
experts is that this period is too long,.
and an order -in -council has been
passed fixing the close season from
May 11'1 to Sane 15, or two week
earlier than at present. The change
will apply this season.
