The Culross Council met at town

stock to hold their own were milch
cows, for which there is an improved
demand. All told there were 70
carloads of stuff on the board to -day,
which included 1,300 hogs, 203
sheep; and lambs, and 211. calves.

county levies the same proportion on
townships for personal property as
they did before stock was exempt.
The County Valuator's Assessment
for real property in Culross is $1,-
822,600 and the county adds 5 per
cent on personal property or 91.130,
making a total for Culross of $1,913,-
730, which we consider not justifiable
by statute.
