There appears to be a general impression among the ratepayers that personal property is exempt in the County, whereas, the county levies the same proportion on townships for personal property as they did before stock was exempt. The County Valuator's Assessment for real property in Culross is $1,- 822,600 and the county adds 5 per cent on personal property or 91.130, making a total for Culross of $1,913,- 730, which we consider not justifiable by statute.
