announced that the Beef Calf
Income Stabilization payment
would be $63.42 per cow enrolled,
••less a $5.00 premium,' for a net of
$58.42 per cow enrolled.
The average calculated calf
price for Ontario was $33.42, and
with the stabilized price of $50.00
this leaves a differential of
$16.58. Payment is on the basis of
16.58 x 450 lb. ,calf x 85% calving
rate.
This works out to $63.42 ppr/
cow enrolled, less the $5:00
premium.
Cheques are being written and
payment can be expected by year
end according to Stanley

meeting of the Walton Women's
Institute on Wednesday evening
in the community hall, which was
decorated for the Christmas
spirit.

then she read a poem "Season's
Greetings". The minutes were
approved as read. followed by the
treasurer's report by Mrs. Leona
McDonald. •
In the correspondence thank

$15.00 to the War Memorial
Children's Hospital in London.

Bolger will attend the Senior
Training School for leaders in

New Year on Tuesday. January 4
