(Expositor Photo) SANTA'S COMING -- Towards the end of. the Sunday School Concert at First Presbyterian Church in Seaforth Friday night, the excitement mounted as young church members waited for Santa Claus. Santa visited and brought gifts for all the kids. (Expositor Photo) organists, school children and the adopted grandfather at West- minster Hospital. It was also (kV A pot luck supper and exchange of gifts preceded the December meeting of St. James Catholic Women's League which was held in the school Tuesday evening with a large attendance. Mrs. Ewart Wilson presided for the meeting whjch opened with the League Prayer. A Christmas poem "Poor Empty Stable" was read by Mrs. Ray Hutchinson. Spiritual convenor. Fr. Laragh spoke about the Feast of the Immaculate Conception' of the Blessed Virgin Mary on. Dec. 8. Parish visitors for December are Mrs. Joseph Cane and Mrs. James Nash. Grands party The Past Grands Club met on Dec. 9th at the home of Ethel Boyes with Irene. Smith as co-host. Helen Reeves read several of her favourite Christmas Poems. After the business, and the planning for the Jan. meeting, to be held at the Senior Citizens Home in Seaforth on Jan 13th was conclulded, a few games of Court' Whist were played, with, high score going to ' Ann Henderson and low to Annie Harrison. While the hostess served lunch, Mae Hillebrecht had the lucky plate, Hazel McGonigle. the lucky cup and Mae Habkirk pigked the lucky number. 1 Helen Reeves Moved a vote of thanks to the ladies for having the meeting and the lunch. • Hospital Auxiliary donates curtains.
