night. Terry Dale and Joe Dick
scored the other Flyer goals.
Dave i,ongstaff °netted two
goals and 'John Nash had a single

The middle contest of the
evening proved to be the most
exciting. The Blues stormed from
behind in -the late stages of the
game to !nip the Hawks by a 7-6
count.
Bill Price and Dale Kennedy
each scored a pair of goals with
single scores going to Terry
Stevenson. George 'Reeves and
Clive Buist.
Dave Broome lead the Hawks
with 2 goals. Je'rry., Feeney, JaCk
,Price, Casey Kiaver and Ben Van
Den Akker all added single
tallies.
The Seaforth Centenaires
dropped a 7.2 decision to.ere
league leading Mitchell Hawks
last Friday evening. A good
crowd saw Mitchell muscle their
way to a 3-0 first period lead as
they outshot the locals 20-9.
The second period was a repeat
of the first as Mitchell 'again
outshot the locals 21-S but only
added two goals. Dave McClure
put Seaforth on the scoreboard
converting passes from Jerome
Aubin and goaltender Lou Arts.
The final period saw Seaforth
force 'the play as they outshot
Mitchell 17-11 but managed only
1 goal to 'the Hawks 2. Bill Sthith
counted the local's goal with'
Doug Fry assisting. •
#iCked up 17 penalties
of the 30 called as' they toughed
up some of Seaforth's players.
The officiating left a lot to 'be
desired as two Scaforth players
received black eyes and cuts due
to high sticks but no penalties
were called.
Lou Arts played well in the
Seaforth nets stopping 58 shots
and picking up, an assist. ,
• . Lucan 5, Seaforth 1
The Centenaires travelled to
Luean Sunday and again played
better but came out on the short
end of a 5-1 score, Lucan opened

At the end of last season a
count was made on the number of

work of Lou Arts kept the score
