swept the. Huron Perth Separate Schools soccer
tournament on Saturday, with the junior and senior
boys teams winning both championships. Girls'
teams from St. Joseph's, Kingsbridge won both
those championships. Members r of the. St. Columban

sion at the Huron-Perth separate
schools soccer tournament Satur-
day at the Seaforth District High
School.
KeVII Coyne scored all foUr
goals as St. Columban defeated
Our Lady of Mount Carmel 4-2 in
the senior game.
Joe Ryan scored St. Colum-
ban's lone goal on a penalty shot
in the junior contest as it blanked
St. Joseph's of Kingsbridge, 1-0.
St. Aloysius, Stratford, and Our
Lady of Mount Carmel were
eliminated in the preliminary
games in the junior section prior
to the final game.
St. Joseph's separate school,
Kingsbridge, won the senior and
junior girls' championships by
blanking St. Patrick's of Kinkora
2-0 in the Senior game and again
Shutting out St. Patrick's in the
junior final, 1-0, in the tourna-'
merit held at St. Columban
school,
Debbie Austin•scored both St.
Joseph goals in the senior game
while Denise Connelly scored for
the juniors.
In the junior girls preliminary
games St. Joseph eliminated the
Immaculate Conception girls of
Stratford, 3-0.
Don Farwell, principal of St.
Columban Separate School,
expressed his satisfaction with
the events, "The players
displayed great sportsmanship in
a well-run tournament." -

Robert, who lives arHeritage
Estates with his wife Margaret

Daniel, six months, has been
drawism as a hobby all his life, He
work at Bendix in Hensall,
where he says he has "a wall
plastered with drawings."
Robert is playing this year in
Seaforth's Industrial Hockey
League and he'll do a cartoon
every week, called "Down in the
Minors", based on IHL play.
IHL play has been *postponed
until'N next Sunday, Nov. 7,
because of lack of ice in the arena,
but this week Robert satirizes the
EXpositor's IHL reporter, Dave
Bro6me.
