anniversary party was held on

Their family entertained their
parents to a family dinner at
Brodhagen Community Centre
October 24th. Mr. amd Mrs.
Carl Elg; bridal , attendants also

Easthope by Rev. J. Bender.
They have three children Mrs.
Gerry (Martha) Sykes, Mrs.
George (Dorothy) Schutt, a son,
Arthur Hinz and eight
grandchildren.
There were three baskets of
flowers from the funeral of the
late, Orval Beuermann in St:
Peter's. Lutheran Church Sunday
morning. The funeral was held on
Monday The choir sang a favorite
hymn.
Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Rock and
Norman 'were guests of their
son-in-law and daughter Dr. and
Mrs. Karl Campbell and Jason,
Goderich and attended the
baptism. Pastor Robert Rock
Dartmouth N.S. was a guest at
the same home and had the
honour of baptising his ne phew
last Sunday .

returned to his home where he is

found growing in her garden.

Jacob and the 6 grandchildren of
Mr. William Jacob who passed
away' Monday at the Kitchener
Waterloo hospital on October 25
at the age of 77. He was
predeceased by his wife the late
(Mildred Reihl) one son Wilfred
and one sister Mrs. Herman
(Ema) Bauer. The funeral was
held Wednesday. He was laid to
rest in Memory Gardens,
Kitchener. Mr. Jacob was
formerly from Brodhagen. A
number attended the funeral from
this district.

Mrs. Malina spoke on
"Personal Witnessing" and gave
a truly good example of her own
experiences. Born in Poland and
living through the Second World
War, she was, one of 4 children
left with their mother after their
father was killed'.
They lost all their material
possessions but always trusted
the Lord and Mrs. Mali na told
how He had' sustained them,
fee on taxes.
The By-Law was read and
explained. Assessment was also
discussed and explained. The
other main complaint was of dogs
running at large and harassing
dogs that are tied even to the
point of injury to them - even to
death. Please take notice as this is
a serius offence and abide by the
existing by-law. '
The Dublin & Dublin Lions
Club held their annual Father and
Son night with 37 in attendance.

Funeral services for Mrs.
Richmond Orr of Seaforth who
died suddenly on October 26
while visiting her sister in
Listowel were held from the
Whitney Ribey Funeral Home,
Seaforth on Friday, October 29
and were conducted by Rev. M. e.
E. Reuber of Northside Unitred
Church.
Pallbearers were Ken

Baxter, Bill Baxter,Doug Keyes,
Albert Durst and flower bearers

GEORGE A. McCLURE
George A. McClure, 55, of
435 'Hamilton • Road, London,
died Saturday at Victoria
Hospital,London. Following a
construction a cident he had been
a patiert in t hopsital for
several weeks.
Born in' McKillop township, he
was a son of the late Mr. and mrs.
;Roger McClure. A war veteran he
served from 1941 with the
Wingham 99th Battery. He was a
' sheet metal worker.
