The executive of the Western
Ontario Athletic Association was
present at the meeting in Toronto
on Saturday of the Ontario Minor
Hockey Association.
0 4- At that meeting it was decided
that, effective at the start of the
1977-78 season, all players in the
'Ontario Minor Hockey
Association, of which the WOAA
is an affiliate, must wear facial
protection. ,
Delegates to the 43rd annual
meeting of the. OMHA, after
lengthy discussion, voted in the
Sharon Eedy, Centre, Samantha ,Poisson, Debbie
Hulley, Lorrie Pryce, Mary Alice Ryan, Cheryl
Campbell, Cathy McGavin, Front, Sandra Campbell,
Marion H unt, coaches Barb and Debbie-McClure,
Joanne Boven, Lynn Dodds.

The number of channels
available to citizens' band radio
users will be expanded to 40 from
22 on April 1, the
Communications Department
says.
The department also said it will
impose stricter technical
standards for the popular radio
equipment in an attempt to
reduce interference with other
broadcasting services and within
the citizens' band spectrum.
The statement said licensing of

reached quite recently, only two

However now the WOAA will
