Eleanor McAsh, Ruth Johnston and Elaine Stephenson presented a Thanksgiving program, using the stories of the pilgrims, Job, Paul and the lepers to point out that people who suffer extreme adversity can still find many things for which to thank God. Margaret Hayter introduced Marie McGavin of Walton, who told with wit and great enthusiasm of her experiences at Alma College last August. She ,advised the women to take the oppOrtunity to attend if they can, and not to be afraid that four days of that environment will be too much. There is time set aside for relaxation and fun, and she considered it a wonderful experience. Marjorie Stirling presided for -the business.
