1976 decided to designate the lands and buildings,
known municipally as (1) The Town Hal!, (2)
Victoria Park, (3) The Round House, as property of
architectural value or interest under The Ontario
Heritage Act, 1974, 1974 S.O. chapter 122.

THE PROPOSED DESIGNATION
(1) TOWN HALL built in 1893 - 94 Is a fine
example of civic architecture In the last
quarter of the nineteenth century.
(2) VICTORIA PARK - including the bandshell of
„about 1920 and the War Memorial is recom-
• mended for its architectural and historical
value.
(3) THE ROUNDHOUSE - built in 1902 is a
particularly fine example of a two storey
octagonal exhibition Hall.
