Sewer Connections
Take notice that the Municipality of the Corporation of The
Town of Seaforth expects certification of the 1-0270-71 Sewer
Project from thd Ministry of the "Environment on
SEPTEMBER 23, 1976.
— Property owners are responsible for the installation of the
building sewer from the street line to the building and all
sewers and connections must be inspeCted by the County
Publib Health Inspector.
— Application and permits are available at the Clerk's
office.
— The applicant shall give 48 hours notice to the Inspector
when the building sewer is ready fbr inspectiOn.
— Upon connection to the sewer, any septic tanks, cesspools
and similar .private sewage disposal facilities must be
cleaned, filled with a suitable fill, or removed or destroyed
_within 60 days of connection .to the PubliC Sewer. '
— All excavations.for sewer installations shall be guarded
With barricades and lights so as to protect the public from
hazard.. .
No person shall permit the discharge of any.storm water,
including surface waters ground water, rain runoff, including
any unpolluted cooling water 'or unpolluted industrial
process water into the Sewage Works of the Ministry.
— Upon receipt' of a notice sent by the Clerk of Seaforth *
homeowners have nine months in which to connect -to the
Public Sewer. •

(1)' TOWN HALL — built in 1893 '- 94 is a fine
example of civic architecture In the last
quarter of the nineteenth century,:
(2) VICTORIA PARK - including the bandshell of
about 1920 and the War Memorial is recom-
mended for its architectural and historical
Value.
(3) THE ROUNDHOUSE - built in 1902 is a
particularly fine example of a two storey
octagonal exhibition Hall. "
