minutes from the end, Carnival
were given a penalty shot which

However, their player continued

Carnival never really threatened
after this goal, though and the
game ended with the score 4-2 L in

an equal number of errors being

Texaco advanced to thefinal
series as they completely
outclassed' Mainstreet in posting
a 21-4 win over the uptowners.
The game remained' close for
three innings. as Texaco led•4-1 .in
the first but then came to life at
the plate and bombed Mainstreet
to put them on the sidelines in
