SDHS council
The grade niners suffered the
first part of initiation on Tuesday,
the slave auction. At nine o'clock,
they went on-'sale. At first, they
were sold one at a time, but,
because of the amount of time it
'took, they were soon sold in
"package deals." Everyone was
in the spirit and there was no
problem getting a bid. Packages
went for as much as twelve
dollars and' singles' as much as
seven dollars. The, slaves had to
carry books and do various other
little deeds for their masters. The
student council made over $100
on the auction by sellihg roughly
80 grade niners. We hope .this
