General Manager Andy Imanse
of the Bendix Hensel] Recreation
Vehicle plant at Hensall says that
a layoff at the plant in conjunction
with the annual vacation, was
necessary to provide sufficient
time to make modifications for the
retooling to start the 1977' model
production.
Mr. Imanse said the plant
stopped , production of 1976
modeli on Friday, July 23.
"Sales are well' ahead of last
year," said Mr. Imanse, "and
market conditions indicate a
continuous demand for recreation
vehicles."
All employees at the plant are
scheduled to be back for, full shifts
in the latter part of August, the

Parker reunion
held at Exeter
Over fifty descendants of the
Parker families gathered at
Riverview Park, Exeter on Satur-
'day for their reunion and picnic
supper. Mr. and Mrs. •Fred
Brown, London and Mr. and Mrs.
Bill Parker, London were in
charge of the races for the
children and games for the adults
followed by a ball game. Those
attending from, a distance were
from Port Credit, Whitby, Bramp-
ton, London, Stratford, Mitchell,
Herman and Exeter. Committee's'
for next year are: sports, Mr. and
Mrs. Clarence Ruston, -Stratford
and Mr. and Mrs. George Parker,
Hensall; president, Doug Wein,
Whitby; 1st vice president, Ken-
neth Parker, Hensall; secretary-
treasurer, Mrs. Don Dalton,
Seaforth. The next reunion will be
held at the Hensel! Community
Park.
Combined Summer Service
. Combined Church service was
held in Carmel Presbyterian
Church' on Sunday conducted by
the Rev. W.D. Jarvis. • Jack
Caldwell presided at the organ.
Service next Sunday, Aegust 8
will be conducted by the Rev.
Hardld Snell of Exeter at 10:00
a.m.

The groom was attended by
