Big, Night
At the Optimist Park the Turf

the plate and outmuscled the
Villagers in posting a 24-19 win..
Turf had built up a 24-4 lead
before the Village came to life but
it proved for naught as they came
up short allowing the Turf to post
their fifth win.
The late contest also proved
how- close the league is this
season as Mainstreet and the
Firemen played to a 12 all stand
off. Again both teams played well
but errors.allowed unearned runs
as neither team proved too
effective defensively,
