Craft Festival
-(S. The Seaforth Craft Festival will be held at the
\ Seaforth Community Centre on Saturday, July 10
from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Festival will have 47 exhibitors featuring braided rugs, wooden
toys, basket weaving, hand painted china and ceramics.
The Craft Festival will also feature an artist in oil- painting from
Prince Edward Island, a silversmith from Toronto and a furniture
craftsman from Montreal.
There will be a number of demonstrations including weaving, chair
caning, quilting and pottery.

Communities faced with the
problem of how to repair or
replace unsafe arenas have been
offered a high level of support by
the Ontario Government, a PC
government caucus news release
says this week.
Robert Welch, Minister of
Culture and Recreation 'has
announced the Ontario
government's financial aid plan.
The government will pay 25
percent of repairs up to $75,000.
Further aid up to 25 ,percent more
in a matching grant to he given
any community which raises up to
25 percent of the cost will come
from Wintario funds. •

answered by a Bible verse, and
minutes of the last meeting were
read. The Treasurer's report was
given by Jean Leiper. Thank you
cards were received from Muriel
Bell and Karen McEwing. Beryl
Reid thanked the ladies for the
card and gift received. Mrs. Rice
gaved a report on the bale. It was
decided the date for the bazaar
would be October 27. Burns
ladies will send cookies to Bible
School July 9. The' meeting
