Blyth Public School scored highest and Holmesville Public was second. Hullet Central students were fourth in total points, followed by Clinton Public, Huron Centennial and Calvin Christian schools. Everyone on the Texaco nine collected at least one hit as they rallied to a twenty-seven hit attack. After a disastrous first two innings, the Duffers settled dam and limited the Villagers to fifteen hits with only five coming after the first two innings. The Queens kept pace and .set the stage for- next week's contest as they struggled to a hard fought 7-3 win over a strong Turf Club nine. The Queens took an early lead and had to plays heads up ball to hold on as both teams were determined.
