A sunny day brought out a "full
house" when Edelweiss Rebekah
Lodge held an anniversary
Dessert Euchre, in the 101OF Hall.
Pink and.green table (foyers with
spring flower table centres lent a
breath of spring. Following
dessert euchre was played.
Winning prizes were: ladies -
high, Mrs. Freda Lithgow; lone
hands, Mrs Wilfred Coleman;
low, Mrs. Betty Salisbury; gents
High, Frank Sinale; lone hands,
Lorne Dennis; low, Clarence
Martin.
Other special prize winners
were: lucky serviette, Mrs. Jim
McNaughton; nearest birthday,
Joe McLellan.
A handmade stole donated by
Mrs. Mary Smith was won by
Mrs. Earl Dapple, and Mrs.
'Peorge Campbell won a cake.

Malcolm, was in charge of games
and social conveners were: Mrs.

ScaforthLeo Club received its Charter last Friday evening at a
dinner meeting. The club, a youth activity sponsored by the Seaf ortb
Lions Club, is made up of young people ,who pledge, to involve ,

OFF TO JAIL, DOROTHY — After escorting several
other; PriSoners to jail on. Saturday, Dorothy Williams
got .her turn and she was carted off by constable Ron
Lauzon and John Strickler of the Huron Country Singles
Club. Hundreds of dollars for arena renovations was -
raised by donorp who paid to have a number'of' people
put in and out of jail.
