The 8:30 game saw Nora Eckert's team against Betty Beuttenmiller's team: Betty's team took an early lead, but by the fourth inning the cold weather affected Betty's team, and they couldn't catch or stop the ball. Asa result, Nora's team pulled ahead by 20 runs. The game was called in the fifth inning as Betty was losing by over 20 runs. The final score was 42 - 12 for Nora. Eckert's team. On Thursday at 7:00. a team from Clinton came to Sea forth for an exhibition game. The Seaforth Ladies team was.,made up of •Terry McNichol, Lorette Savauge, Norah Eckert, Rose Bisback, Marg Sills, Nancy Scott, Adeline Mclnally, Gail Price, J oanne Matthews and Lori Savauge. The game was played well by both teams. The Clinton team took an early lead but firta!ly, Seaforth “started hitting , and emerged as victors. Final score was 16 - 7.
