the "Blossom Tea at Huronview
on Wednesday June 9th from 2
p.m. to 4 p.m. and donations of
baking for bake table would be
appreciated.

Lucknow will be the speaker, at,
the 'South Huron District Annual
being held in Crediton on May
20th. Theme for the meeting is
"Perfection isn't expected but

Hensall spoke on the motto
"Nothing in Life, in any age. that
is worthy is ever too h and to
achieve if you have the courage to
try and the faith to bell eve". She
noted how courage and faith in
many forms and degrees were
often dependent on strength of
many kinds - physical, mental,
moral and of purpose.
A recital by the "Choralaires"
of Woodstock 'which Mrs. Ure
Stewart of Seaforth recorded
during a recent performance of
theAhoir in Seaforth, was played
by Mrs. Stewart and enjoyed by
all present. Mrs. Eldon Kerr—
thanked both and presented them
with a gift. She also conducted a
Name Guessing Contest.,
Mrs. Gordon MacKenzie and
Mrs. E. Kerr were in charge of the
program for_ this meeting,

Hoven were united in marriage
April 24, 1976 at St. Bridgid's
Catholic Church with Father
Brunck of Kitchener, performing
the wedding mass.
' The bride is the daughter of
Mr., and Mrs. Antonie Van den.
Hovel -of--R .42, -2, --Nelankton_and
the groom is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. John Wammes of R,R. 1,
Clinton.
The bride's dress „was made
fralir"polyesterLerepe with an
A-line skirt with an empire waist.
The neck was styled in boat
neck cut, and the top and front of
the skirt were edged -in daisies
which trimmed the floor-length
train from the waist. She carried a
bouquet of yellow roses and white
Mums.
The matron of honour. Mrs,,
Marie Litt, of R.R. 1, Sebring-
ville, sister of the bride, wore a
light yellow printed' flocked
polyester crepe floor-length gown
with short puffy sleeves and 'a
wide skirt. She carried a white
basket with pink mums and
yellow and white daisies with pink
streamers.

their dinner, meeting on. Tuesday
June 8th was accepted.
Institue members plan to hold
their June meeting following this
joint meeting.
A quilt for the Fall Fair project
was on display. A tentative date
of Tuesday evening July 6th was
set for the annual Institute picnic.

ingham of Mitchell, friend of the
bride, wore Mint green gowns in
the same style as the -matron of
honour's. They carried white,
• baskets with yellow mums and
white daisies with pink ribbons.
