Men's first - Joe Latter; Second - Bob Bell; Low - Jim Parsons; Lone Hands - Jack Sinclair; Lucky Draw - Grace Pepper; Lucky Cup - Veran Hay; Lucky Score Card - Al Hoggarth. Couples see gospel fklth The Three Couples' Club from Caven , Carmel and Cromarty Prebyterian Churches attended the film "Gospel Road" presented in First Presbyterian Church, Seaforth and were entertained at a lunch and social hour at Cromarty Presbyterian Church following the film. • On March 24th forty-two participated in a bowling event at the Zurich Bowling Lanes, with six teams playing two games. Winners are as follows: Correspondent Mrs. Hilda M. Payne The Senior Citizens of Mensall met at the 1.0.,D.E.Hall last Wednesday evening for their organizational meeting and to play euchre. Seven tables played. Winners were: Ladies' high -- Mrs. Jo Carter, Exeter; Ladies' low - Mrs. Grace Peck; Men's High - Mr. Clarence Volland; Men's Low - Mr. Carl Payne; lone hands - Mrs. Pearl Taylor. Other members of the executive named were: Mrs. Emma Campbell, Mrs., Dorothy Mickle, Glen Bell, Mrs. Pearl Taylor, Clarence Volland. Membership is to be $1.00 annually; thirty members joined that evening. The United Church Service was conducted by Rev, Don Beck with Mrs. John Turkheim at the organ. The choir sang Psalm 150' to Henry Purcell's Trumpet Tune and the series of Lent Sermons on "What is a Virtue?"(4) Courage was continued, based on the quotation, "Courage is fear that has said its prayer "Courage is based on Trust and Faith". Unit 4 will meet on Thursday, ril 1 at 2:30 p.m. and the general meeting of the U.C.W. will be on Monday, April 5. Rev. W.D.Jarvis conducted service in Carmel Presbyterian Church „on Sunday. ,Rev. Harold McKillop was guest speaker and gave a most informative message as a representative from the Alcohol and Drug Concerns. The flowers in the church were in memory of the late. Mrs. R.Y.MacLaren. Personals Mr, and Mrs, Sim Roobal visited with Mr. Anthony Gelderland of Ridgetown last week. Mrs. Anthony Van Dyke of Trois Riviere, P.Q. has been visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Roobal and while in Hensall she visited with relatives and friends in WoodStock Goderich, London and will now be staying in Chatham until Easter. Tickets for the dance on April 10 are sold out. Don't forget the VAriety Night at Huron Centennial School on Thursday evening, April 15. Lots of fun is guaranteed.
