in 1973. And one other skip has
been an Ontario Mixed Champion
on two other uc'eassions.

The 'Seaforth teatn, certainly

The Seaforth Centenaries

swamped '-the Mt. •Brydges
Crusaders by a convincing 19 - 3
score Sunday aft- &noon. The
Crusaders are now 'on the
sidelines as Seaforth advances to
the semi-finals against either
Mitchell or Lbetin. Mt. Brydges
were never ih the contest as
Seaforth started at -1-:-25 mark and
took coMplete control• as they
opened a 6 - 0 first period lead.
Jamie. Caldwell lead the
Centenaires -with 4 goals • with
Randy McClinchey and Dave
McClure adding 3 apiece. -Rick
McDonald. Kevin Bennett and
Don Nicholson added two apiece"

On Friday, February 20, the
Seaforth Pee Wees played against
Hensall. The local club came out
winners, with a score of 5 -
Bob Nash opened the scoring at
22 seconds of the,first period only
• to have J. McClinchey of flensall
tie it up' at the 2:47 mark.
In the 0.cond period Mark
McElwain put the Seaforth club
ahead, but again J. McClinchey
scored to tie it up once more.
Peter Turner counted for
Seaforth, to make it 3 2 at the
end of the second period.
At the beginning of the third
period, Rob Smith went all the
way to score, but since: one of the
players neglected to return to the
penalty box, Rob's goal, was
rejected, However, Bob Nash and
Peter Turner added two more to
make the 1 final score 5' - 3 for
Seaforth,
