The first conference on. child sav-
ing work in this Province was held
in Toronto lately. There was a
large attendance of people interested
in the work from all parts of the
Proviuee. Hon. J. M. Gibson spoke
on the Gibson Act, dealing with
neglected children. The aim was to
remove unfortunate little ones from
unhealthy and immoral environments.

mittees should be established in ,all
