It used' to be, that roans were approved or rejected on the basis of the assets of the customer. That made it easy for_the banker for he didn't run any risks. Now the banker will look at the ability to repay, which entails morework for the banker and also for the customer. Your bargaining position is that much stronger, he said, if you have cash in your hand. All banks have some kind of eirogram to " help the farmer decide if a venture is leasable. If it is, the assets are less important than repayment capability' is. It is to the advantage of the lender to help the farmer, 'get' . ahead, for the better off the farmer is, the better it is for the lender, the manager said. In the question period following the address the difficul4 of young, beginning farmers in securing loans was discussed. The bank doesn't think that a .young =man can start with a small acreage to expand until it i's Viable. They would be considered to be hobby farmers. Some collateral from dad or uncle 'is necessary. In other business before the. meeting which.was chaired by the first vice prgsident Alan Walper, it was thou' ilt that the Huron Federation should not protest the seat belt law, as there are enough issues pertaining to farming Without adding more civil issues to it. , • 9:00 10:30 11:00' Carol Burnett Movie Celebeation The National Ontario Schools Friendly Giant Mon Ami Ontario Schools • Canadian Schools Mr. DresSup Sesame Street• Spiderman • Noon Retitart Movie Edge of Night Take Thirty Celebrity Cooks Forest' Rangers Electric Company , Phil Silvers Partridge Family John Strong Report Truth or Consequences Phyllis Circle tight Ranch All Star Hockey Billy Liar 1100 The Natitarrar 11:20 News. 11:45 Mery Griffin WEDNESDAY 8:00 ,Ontario Schools 8:45 Friendly Giant 9:00' Mon Ami 9:15' Ontario Schools 10:30 Mr. Dressup 11:00 Sesame Street 12:00 Spiderman 12:30 Noon Report - 12:45 .,Movie 2:30' Edge of Night. 3:00 Take Thirty 3:30 _Celebrity Cooks 4;00 Forest gangers 4:30 'Cumin trp Rosie 5:00 Phil .Silvers 5;30 Partridge Family 6:00 John.
