Death of James Woodyatt.
Belleville, Ont., Aug. 20.. --James
Weodyatt, city clerk of Brantford,
died at the. residence of Mr. Mathison,
Superinteldent of the Deaf and
Dumb Institute, this morning at 3
o'clock. He had taken cold. at Tor-
onto on Friday, the 3rd inst., from
Which he never fully recovered, and
on Tuesday last he was attacked by
cholera morbus. Mr. Woodyatt was
born in England, June 20, 1819, and
eame to Brantford in 1835. In 1859
he was appointed city* clerk, a; posi-
