Wright Chev-Olds has been the
victim of four break-ins in the last
year, the last one in August, but
Mr. Williams said .he doesn't
think this s• latest episode is
connected.' "I • think it was
somebody tearing up the town,"
he said.. None of the break-ins
have been solved.
The police don't think the
incidents are connected either.
"It's out and out vandalism,"
`constable 'Fred Burton says, and
he . feels it was related to

"A lot of hard work in hot
weather, and now it's all gone",
That's how pig farmer Jim
McNairn summed up the loss of
800 or 900 bales of hay in a fire
Tueiday night.
The bales were st.acked out in
theyard of Mr. McNairn's barn in
Egmondville and were covered
with plastic. The stack was
isolated with no electric wires
nearby and Mr. MeNairn felt
there was no way the fire could
have started by itself.
There was a fairly heavy rain
still falling as Seaforth Fireman
fought the blaze and Mr.
McNairn said the bales' covering
was wet, in spite of the fire.
He couldn't estimate damage
in dollars but said a steel granery
near the hay had been scorched,
"It'll have to be repainted now or
it will rust," he said and added
that there is no way of knowing
yet whether the scorching had

Every year the organizers of the

indicates that a trip by air may be,
