The Huron Expositor, 1975-10-23, Page 18If you get an envelope of Christmas seals in the mail this week and wonder if someone has set the clock ahead a month and you haven't noticed, relax. Because of the threat of a mail strike, the Huron Perth Lung Association mailed out their seals a couple of weeks early, Mrs. Beryl Davidson, director' of the organization said. Christmas seals are the society's annual fund raising method. "We're not rushing our sup- porters, we're just rushing on account 9f a possible strike," she said. Ordinarily the seals are sent out in early November, she said. If the threatened strike hap- pens, and if it continues for a long time, Mrs. Davidson said, the national office of the lung associ ation was asking chartered.,bankf and trust companies to accept donations to the Christmas seal compaign. The gown was richly appliqued with re-embroidered lace which also bordered her long chapel train. Her long veil was trimmed with matching lace and held in place by a Juliet cap. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Stoll, R.R.1f3, Kippen and Mr. and Mrs. George Ehgoetz, Mitchell are the parents'of the groom. The bride, given in marriage by her brother John Stoll, chose a floor-length empire waisted satin gown with lace train. A jewelled crown held the shoulder-length veil. She carried an arm bouquet of yellow roses and baby's breath, Mrs. Wendy Sobu.ra of Kitchener was the Matron of Honor dressed in a pink empire waisted floor-length gown with lace bodice and sleeves. They were dressed alike in deep brown suits with yellow carnativis. HULLEY - MUEGGE Bethel Bible Church was the setting for the marriage of Richard Wayne Huiley and Jeanette Yvonne Muegge on October 11,1975. The doublering ceremony was performed by Pastor John O'Sen t of Stratford at 4 P.M. The °bride is• the daughter of Mr. arid Mrs. Gordon Muegge, James Street, Seaforth and the groom is the ,son of Mrs. Bernice Hulley, Main Street, Seaforth. The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose a gown of dusty rose polyester crepe and floppy hat with matching band and lace. She carried a bouquet of pink and wine carnations, touch of baby's breath and rose ribbon. She was attended by the maid of honouf, Miss Ann Bannon, friend of the bride. Mrs. Dalrymple opened with. a Thanksgiving poem. Hymn IS was sung followed by prayer by Mrs. Reuber. , Mrs. Ellis read the Scripture 17 Chapter St. Luke, verses 13 - 19 followed by a reading, 'Thank you Lord'.
