On Tutsday night of this week the girls 11 and under from 'Winthrop Team along with the. Seaforth team had a pot luck supper at the Seaforth Arena. Mrs. George Pethick is a patient in St. Joseph's Hospital, London. Her sister, Mrs. Lyle Racho is a patient in Seaforth Community Hospital. Sharon Ledy, has returned home from the Seaforth Community Hospital where she underwent an appendicitis operation. The guest minister Rev: Wesley Ball, of Gorrie spoke for his sermon, "Sedatives or Solu- tions" There will be no Walton next week due to Anniversary GOLDEN WEDDING — Mr. and Mrs. Fred Marshall of 135 James Street, Clinton, formerly of Lucan, celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary .on September 20th at the home of their daughter, R.R.#4, Seaforth. A dinner was held at Brucefield United Church in their honor with friends and relatives present. They were married in McKees- port, Pennsylvania, September 19, 1925. Mrs. Marshall was the former Anne Bechsteadt of McKeesport. Mr, and Mrs. Marshall have two daughters, Audrey, Mrs. J.O.Andersen of Clinton and Barbara, Mrs. R. E. Celebrate 39th Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Johnston, R.R. 3, Walton were guests of honour at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Don Fischer on ' Sunday afternoon on the occasion of their 39th wedding anniversary, which was September 23rd.
