walk on Raglan St.
Trustees will be meeting with
county engineer Tom Collins to
discuss the sidewalk along the
west side of Mill St. County Rd..

of London attended the Dublin
Hydro system meeting the same
evening to discuss new Hydro
rates. An increase is to be put into
effect in December at the earliest

very successful year winning the
Mid-Western Ontario Ladies
Fastball, League 'B' Champion.

tSeminar in Owen Sound at
Hillcrest Public School. This
Seminar was attended by' Sr,
Florence Kelly representing St.
'Patrick's School and Miss
Dorothy Delaney sponsored by
cominunity Citizens Council of
Waterloo regional office of the
Ministry of Education' sponsored
the seminar - purpose was to
examine the development of
community schools.
Highlights of the week
included an address by Judge
Ross II, Fair family division of
Kitchener provincial court. His
topics were the reality of lifemedia
and communications, influences

and development.
Wednesday morning 'a panel
consisting of an editor, trustee,
alderman and rate payers group
representative discussed the
qualify of life in Owpn Sound and
ways to make it a better place to

undefeated in winning the Double
eliminatiOn Midget Ladies Tourn-
ament held in Dublin. For their
winning efforts they received a
trophy donated by the Dublin &
District Lion's Club and an
aluminuim bat donated by All-Pro
Sports of Stratford.
Brodhagen Midget Ladies who
were runners up received a cash
prize. The scores' for the 2 'day

Dublin and District Lions held
their annual ladies night last
Friday night. Due to inclement
weather it was held in the local
Bick's Warehouse. Steaks were
barbecued to individual tastes
and served along with cold slaw,
baked potatoes and a bun,
Bicycle riding and ' dancing
rounded out the evening. No
championships were declared for
bike riding. President Norman
McKay estimated there were
forty-six in attendence.

a motor trip last weekend. from
Tobermory they ferried to Maxi-
toulan Island, taking in the paper
and saw mills, in the Northern
part of Ontario as well as the
nickel Mines in Sudbury.

been employed around Calgary
this past summer has returned
home to take. up farming.
