I was surprised to learn on our return, there was so much rain that it prevented harvesting a large portion of the spring crops and that unless there is a sudden change, the bean harvest will suffer as well. Saskatchewan and Alberta, are only starting the wheat, which for the most part appears fairly good, they too have weather problems. B. Mrs. Elsie Henderson accompanied Nelson Lear and Morgan Dalton with vocal solos. /. The Brussels Legion Pipe Band entertained on "Family Night" with a band concert on the front lawn. The weather was ideal for the program outdoors with several taking, advantage of the open windows on the west side of the Home.
