"Happy Birthday" to Miss lia Gardner and on Saturday after- noon • a small tea party was arranged in her honour with cake, cookies and juice being served to the eight guests present. Ila recieved several gifts and good wishes from family and friends. Mr, and Mrs. Dave Watson of Walton visited with Mrs. Leila Dundas. Also visiting Mr. Dundas were her daughter Mrs. Robt Pickering of Toronto, her grandson Mr. David Pickering and friend also of Toronto. They enjoyed an outing together. Also on Tuesday afternoon Rev. and Mrs. Walter Mills of Cambridge visited the latters grandmother Mrs. Leila Dundas. Miss Mary Neville enjoyed an afternoon out the guest of Miss Tltlie Dundas. Visiting with Mrs. Cartwright Hawly and Mr. Zack McSpadden were Mrs. Annie Deane of London Mr. John Pethick and Mr. Alex Dennis. Mrs. Lillie Hudie has returned to Seaforth Manor following her recent stay in hospital. Tuesday; A mini field day with sack races, peanut scramble and picnic in the play park. Wednesday; A Penny Carn- ival at the park.. Candy booths for treats., Thursday; Puppet show. Friday; Fun day and clean-up day. Come' and see what your leaders have planned. ADDLE JUTZI We were saddened to hear of the death of Mr. Addle Jutzi. Mr. Jutzi is well known to manyib the area through business. He was manager of the Base Factory Outlet Store at Vanastra. Mr. and Mrs. Jutzi-and their son were one of the first families to move to Vanastra in 1972. Ail residents are well aware of the active role Mr. Jutzi played in helping Vanastra begin and grow. He was a past president of the Vanastra Community Association The community, friends and family will sadly miss Mr.' Jutzi. David Weigel. Mrs. Dundas also was visited by her granddaughter and husband of Toronto who took her for a n ice outing on Tuesday of ternoon. Visitors with Mrs. Atha Reid this past week were Mrs. Fred Reid of Clinton, Mrs. Jennie Storey and Mrs. Elsie Dinsmore of Seaforth and Mr. Stanley Jackson of Tuckersmith.
